What if the Card Was Not Ordered by Myself (Cardholder)?
During the order process we not only confirmed the order details via an electronic check, we also validated your phone number via SMS verification. As a regulated financial service provider we treat the misuse of personal details very seriously and we kindly ask you to provide us (at support@cardstatus.com) with the following:
If the account order was made in the name of a minor (under the age of 18): send an email to support@cardstatus.com with a clear copy of the account holder’s ID or passport. We will immediately cancel the account free of charge.
If the account was made in your name, by someone unknown to you: please send us a scanned copy of the final outcome of the police investigation, where it is confirmed that there is a case of identity fraud. We will immediately cancel the account free of charge. Please advise the police that we are willing to cooperate in any way they need us, to help with the investigation. If the account was made in your name by a family member/friend/acquaintance: unfortunately we are unable to cancel the account free of charge. We kindly refer you to the fees applicable, according to our Terms and Conditions.
